In collaboration with the Architectural Division of the local government unit of Zamboanga City, I served as the lead planner and designer in producing the design and layout of the proposed housing redevelopment of the indigenous people of the Sama-Banguingi tribe located at the island of Santa Cruz, Zamboanga City, Philippines.
The proposed design is a reflection of the tribe's culture while satisfying the needs of today's standards. The project was headed by philanthropist Miss Gina Lopez in partnership with non-government organization Yellow Boat of Hope Foundation and the local government unit of Zamboanga City.
